Welcome to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) Online Visitation Scheduler. Visitors can utilize this system to create personal profiles and schedule visits with TDCJ inmates at their convenience. There are a variety of notes, tips, and warnings used in this user guide.
Dec 28, 2023 · Before you travel to a unit: Confirm the inmate is assigned to the unit you are planning to visit and has visitation privileges. The visitation information provided through the link below is updated once daily during weekdays and multiple times per day on visitation days.

The Online Visitation Portal is only available to residents of the United States, Canada and Mexico at this time. A User account and Visitor profile must be created and approved with visitor to inmate relationship prior to scheduling a visit. For assistance please contact the inmate's unit of assignment.

TDCJ has created an Online Visitation Portal to make it easier and faster to schedule visitation appointments with your loved ones. The first step is creating a profile on this system so you will be ready to schedule visits when it opens for September visits.
Inmates are limited to one visit per weekend. Visits are usually two hours in duration, but the length of a visit may very if overcrowding exists or other circumstances arise. If you are traveling over 300 miles to visit you can arrange to have a special visit.
