     You need a Restaurant table with a unique primary key REST_ID and other Restaurant attributes (like name and location, name of chef)

     You need a Buffet table with the primary key (REST_ID, BUFFET_ID), and other Buffet attributes such as name ( "Salad Bar," "Smorgasbord," or "Sweets" for example.)

     You need a Dish table with the primary key (REST_ID, BUFFET_ID, DISH_ID) and other attributes such as name ("Potato Salad," "Buttered Nan")

     You need a Photos table with the primary key (REST_ID, BUFFET_ID, DISH_ID, PHOTO_ID) and other attributes, for example a pathname or blob for the photo itself, and a caption.

     You need a Reviews table with the primary key (REST_ID, BUFFET_ID, DISH_ID, REVIEW_ID).

     Notice that there's a design choice in this data model: it is not possible for the same dish to appear on two different buffets. Nor is it possible for the same buffet to appear in two different restaurants. That is, the data is strictly hierarchical:

     One restaurant: zero, one, or more buffetsOne buffet: zero, one or more dishesOne dish: zero, one or more photosOne dish: zero, one or more reviews-

     This makes sense for a review application. If you get food poisoning from the egg salad in Restaurant A, it makes no sense for your negative review of the dish to appear under Restaurant B.

     Here are some example rows for each table.

     One way of doing this is with "heterogenous services", ie, Oracle takes via ODBC to a remote non-oracle data source.

     There's a manual for this in the standard doc set:

     but in a nutshell, the basic steps are:

     1) have an ODBC driver for DB2 on your database server, or on a machine that your database server can reach.

     2) Configure an ODBC target for that DB2 database. Lets call it "MYDB2"

     3) create a file initMYDB2.ora in $ORACLE_HOME/hs/admin. Configure it as per the sample (init4g4odbc.ora). It points to your MYDB2 target.

     4) In that directory, you'll also find samples for listener.ora and tnsnames.ora.

     So you'll end up with a tnsnames entry called "MYDB2". It will reference the initMYDB2.ora, which will point to the MYDB2 odbc target, which will be your DB2 database.

     Then you create a database link in the normal way:

     create database link blahconnect to my_db2_useridentified by my_db2_passwordusing 'mydb2';-

     Here are some GUI tools you might find useful:

     • MySQL - MySQL Workbench
     • PostgreSQL - PG Admin

     As for creating a separate table for each user, refer to @Polymath's answer. There is no benefit in creating separate tables for each user (you might as well use a json file).

     What you should do is create a logs table that has a user_id attribute referencing the id in the users table.

     You should also look into database normalization as your "john123" table is not in 3NF. The servo should be decomposed out of logs table if it will be logged by multiple users or multiple times (which I'm guessing is the case for you).

     This is a design choice, and it basically depends on how much information you usually need, and how many extra fields you have.

     Option 1: Keep them in the same table, if its not too much or you usually need all the data.

     Option 2: Create a User Profile table, that contains the user data that its related to the person and not the account.
