Jul 21, 2021 · First, you need to upload your files to Spotify through the desktop app. This will let you use Spotify as a local media player, but it's also a prerequisite before you can access them on your iOS or Android device. Once the files are uploaded, you must add them to a playlist before you can play them on your phone.
