So I did some research. 6 seconds later I confirmed it to be a scam. -it was an email that expresses desire to turn the book into a movie (already sus asf) -it claimed to be from Rhiley Roads no information online and sounds like an adult film actress's name. -it claimed to be from 'lionsgate' and the founder Stephen Shellen from colorado.
Dec 31, 2022 · Curiously, I wasn’t able to locate any review links or scam alerts for Hyperobject Industries on Google or on any other search engines. And when I started looking at news articles about Adam MacKay at Hyperobject Industries, everything pointed to him being a genuine movie producer/director who was famous for his Netflix productions.

Aug 5, 2020 · The first call came in from a local number (260)485-2756 at 1:21 PM. He said I was being scammed by someone using my Apple account. I told them I didn't have an Apple account and I hung up. Later that day I had another call from a male who said someone had ordered a $799 phone from Amazon and he said he thought it might be a scam.
