Feb 28, 2023 · One of the best family-friendly Ohio day trips is Cedar Point Amusement Park. Cedar Point is located in Sandusky on a Lake Erie peninsula. Ohio also has Cedar Point partly to thank for the title of “Roller Coaster Capital of the World”. The amusement park has 18 roller coasters, all at different thrill levels.
