  1. Jun 22, 2021 · That having been said, over the years several developers have heard the call of the West and applied their talents to giving players rollicking experiences in America’s lawless history. What follows is a list of the best Wild West games you can play right now.

    • Law & Order: Legacies (2012) After a solid decade of satisfying fans with various tie-in video games, the series ran its course with the final entry, Law & Order: Legacies.
    • Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2005) With slightly higher review scores than Legacies, Law & Order: Criminal Intent puts players directly in the investigative shoes of Detective Robert Goren (voiced by Vincent D'Onofrio), the star of the TV spinoff of the same name.
    • Law & Order: Dead On The Money (2002) The first Law & Order video game released came via 2002's Dead on the Money, a commercial success that surpassed many people's expectations and led to four popular follow-ups.
    • Law & Order II: Double Or Nothing (2003) Despite being mired in controversy in the UK during the time of its release, Law & Order II: Double or Nothing took what worked in the original game and expanded on it with tremendous results.
    • Red Dead Redemption 2. A prequel to one of the best western games of all time, Red Dead Redemption 2 throws you in at the brunt end of life as a cowboy in an unforgiving open world.
    • Evil West. If RDR2 is a little bit too realistic for you, then why not don your Stetson and rattle those boot spurs while slaying vampires instead? 2022 sure had its fill of vampire games, but Evil West took the popular genre back to the Old West – well, a very fictional Old West, complete with electric weapons and demonic, winged beasts.
    • Hard West 2. The original Hard West was a mighty fine blend of turn-based strategy, the supernatural, and good old-fashioned cowboy. Sequel Hard West 2 has managed to offer that and more.
    • Desperados III. The Desperados series is known for blending the iconic stealth game action of Commandos, with the theme and setting of the Wild West. Mimimi Games did excellent work paying homage to this Commandos-style of tactical strategy game with Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, and the studio has applied that same formula to a third Desperados game.
    • West of Loathing. One of the funniest games in years on PC, and indeed the recipient of our Comedy GOTY award of 2017, West of Loathing is a clever spin on traditional RPGs whether you're interested in a western setting or not.
    • 12 is Better Than 6. This awkwardly-named top-down shooter might remind you of Hotline Miami, with more of a focus on ammo conservation, careful shooting, and stealth.
    • Hunt: Showdown. "The sun is setting on the Wild West," is how Crytek describes the setting of Hunt: Showdown, which is part survival game, part competitive FPS and more of a horror-themed game than it is a western.
    • Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood. The original Call of Juarez is alright, too, but we’ll recommend the sequel, Bound in Blood if you only plan to play one.
  2. Unfortunately most of the Law & Order games were made in the early to mid 2000's and are very difficult to get to work on modern systems , the last Law & Order game to my knowledge was the Tell Tale game and it's now longer available to buy.

  5. Jan 24, 2012 · The game looks and feels like you're in the Law & Order world and you'll find yourself interrogating many people, searching clues, intimidating (with the typical 'smart ass' talking) and making deals (if you want) with the suspect and of course you'll defend your case in the courtroom.
