Apr 13, 2024 · Yes! Medellin is safe to travel to. The city had a recorded 1,400,000 international visitors last 2022. Most of them had a relatively safe experience. The second largest city in Colombia, visiting Medellin is definitely something I’d highly recommend to all sorts of travellers.
Colombia COVID Vaccine Requirements. As an international tourist over 18 years old, you can enter Colombia by providing a certificate for a full scheme (esquema completo) of vaccination. While this isn’t required, it’s definitely a good idea for staying safe on your trip.
