Uncyclopedia is built on the same MediaWiki software that Wikipedia uses. However, during Fandom's (Wikia's) hosting of Uncyclopedia, Fandom extensively modified its version of MediaWiki version 1.19, making the Fandom Uncyclopedia site incompatible with later MediaWiki versions.

It’s the same problem that every parody site that does this has. They pretend to be alt-right in a way that anyone with logic will understand is glaringly obvious. Unfortunately, alt-right types are both lacking in critical thinking, and also in personal connections.
