Jan Hlavac Munroe was born on June 24, 1952 and is an actor, writer, trumpeter, mime, fire breather, tight rope and slack rope walker, stilt walker, acrobat, comedian, dancer, and sword swallower who performed with The Mystic Knights of The Oingo Boingo from 1972 until 1974.
In 1980, she married Jonathan Furst; they divorced in the late 1980s, and Conroy subsequently married actor Jan Munroe in 1992. Conroy once had a car accident which damaged her right eye; although the cornea was fixed through eye surgery, the surgery decolored the eye in the process.
