Apr 22, 2019 · Download photos from iPhone without using Photos app. I used to use Preview to import photos from my iPhone to my MBP. It worked well. I liked being able to download my photos to a folder of my choosing. (I organise photos by year and then use the 'Sort By' column in Finder to stay organised.) Recently, I haven't been able to do this.
