  5. Jun 24, 2002 · BTW the writer of the songs, Jeffrey Comanor, recorded his own - very good - version of "A Famous Myth" on a solo album he made for A&M in 1969 called Sure Hope You Like It. He's also written songs for The Fifth Dimension and other soft rock acts of the era, and wrote the music for Brian De Palma's "Phantom of the Paradise" movie.
