Like what was pointed out by others, the glass doors are a bit too wide for the setup. In my case I installed a shower surround with a 4-foot wide opening and there is an area 8 inches wide area where the glass doors are overlapping, 2 inches less width per door would've reduced to a 4-inch overlap which is still more than sufficient to keep water from passing through.

For the leaking that is happening between the shower doors, the door size should be checked. If the door is too small for the opening of your shower, it would create a smaller overlap.
