Kung Lao is a character in Mortal Kombat X, who first appeared in Mortal Kombat II as a playable fighter. He returns after many franchise appearances, once again wielding his signature bladed hat.
Buzzsaw- Kung Lao gains a new hat, resembling a buzzsaw (hence the name). With this variation, Kung Lao has more control over his hat and gains the ability to move around while it's in motion, and the hat is able to move faster or slower, and is made in mid for those who are more aggressive or who want more ways to throw a bladed hat at people.
Hat Trick- Kung Lao's dragon symbols on his garments begin to glow in this wariation. This gives Kung Lao the ability to stop his hat in mid-air, making this variation great for controlling the field. With this, he can call the hat back at any time while it is mid-air.
Face Grind (Close) - Down, Back, Down, Forward, Circle/B
Kung Lao throws his hat down, making it stationary on the ground but still spinning, and trips the opponent. He follows this up by kicking the opponent in the back of their head, making their face slice in half by the hat.
Spin - Down, Forward, Square/X
Vortex - Down, Forward, Square+R2/X+RT
DiveKick - (Air)Down + Circle/B
Multi Kick - (Air)Down + Circle/B+R1/RT

Took a lot of time, learning, trial, error and frustrated swearing on my part, but finally I've got him useable for newer versions of the game.
Mar 20, 2015 · Liu Kang and Kung Lao skins should be together, and then the Jax skin should also be together with Sonya and Kano. Further, Sonya and Kano skins make more sense paired with Tremor than they do with Tanya.
Kung Lao (Chinese: 空佬) is a character in the Mortal Kombat series, and made his debut in Mortal Kombat II. A new version of Kung Lao returns in Mortal Kombat 1 as a playable character, serving as a supporting character in the game's Story Mode.
Kung Lao trained with the Shaolin Monks to become one of Earthrealm's most skilled defenders. But his immaturity and impetuousness prevented him from being taken as seriously as his friend Liu Kang. Despite Lao's shortcomings, he was able to defeat both Shang Tsung and Quan Chi in Mortal Kombat.
