Lael Brainard. Lael Brainard took office as a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in June 2014 to fill an unexpired term ending January 31, 2026. On May 23, 2022, she was sworn in as Vice Chair for a term ending May 15, 2026. She resigned February 18, 2023.
