The best part of camping at Lakeport State Park is the access to a beautiful beach with clear, rocky Lake Huron to swim in. Second, the bathrooms and showers are kept very clean, kudos to the staff. The campsites are cramped and open, leaving no privacy. You might as well set up in a Wal-Mart parking lot.

Special camping rules. Campsites must be occupied each night after arrival. Two vehicles allowed per campsite. Visitors must leave by 10 p.m. Campfires are permitted in designated fire rings only and must never be left unattended. Do not burn garbage. Fireworks are prohibited.
