The Johnson City complex has LBJs boyhood home and the Johnson Settlement. The National Park main visitor center in Johnson City and the boyhood home are both closed due to Covid.

  3. The visitor center, located in a former hospital, provides an introduction to the park, exhibits and films about President Johnson and his wife Lady Bird. A short way north of the visitor center is the Johnson Boyhood Home, an 1880s Victorian house where he lived with his parents from age five.

The LBJ Visitor Center at Johnson City District is a second park operated by the National Park Service and offers a Visitor Center with exhibits and films on LBJ and Lady Bird Johnson, the LBJ Boyhood Home, an education building, and the historic Johnson Settlement. The Visitor Center is open from 9 AM - 5 PM daily.
