The Moomins are a series of Swedish-language children's books by Finland-Swedish author Tove Jansson, telling stories of the hippo-like Moomins, who live in Moominvalley and have adventures with their friends. The cast of characters is varied, ranging from childlike humanoids to creatures from all over the world.
Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley is a Stealth / Adventure Game created by Hyper Games, inspired by Tove Jansson 's famous series of novels, The Moomins; in particular, it's a loose adaptation of Moominsummer Madness with a few elements from Tales from Moominvalley. Music by Sigur Rós is featured in the soundtrack.
The series also won a Golden Venla award for 2019 Best Children's Program [31] and won Best Children’s Series at 2020 British Animation Awards. [32] Moominvalley was nominated for Best Animation and Best Storytelling at 2019 Shanghai Television Festival.
