Attendance. According to Maryland law, every child between the ages of 5 and 16 must attend school. Students are expected to attend classes unless they have an excused absence. Attendance will be reported to parents on report cards.
All SSL forms (MCPS Form 560-51: Student Service Learning Activity Verification) should be submitted to the school’s SSL coordinator by April 5, 2024, to be considered for these awards.

As part of Montgomery County Public Schools' Downcounty Consortium, Northwood High School is a four-year comprehensive high school that boasts a diverse population of over 1700 students.
