Perfect Obedience (Spanish: Obedienca perfecta) is a 2014 Mexican drama film directed by Luis Urquiza and based around the controversies surrounding the Legionarios de Cristo religious congregation and its founder Marcial Maciel.
Antonio Diego. Ernesto Alcocer. Luis Urquiza. The fictional Father Ángel de la Cruz is based on Legion of Christ founder Marcial Maciel, whose long history of child abuse was not addressed until 2006 and only publicly acknowledged in 2009.
