The Presidential Palace (Finnish: Presidentinlinna, Swedish: Presidentens slott) is one of the three official residences of the president of the Republic of Finland. It is situated in Helsinki, on the north side of Esplanadi, overlooking Market Square.

Presidential Palace. Mariankatu 2-4, 00170 Helsinki. Pehr Granstedt made the original drawings for the Presidential Palace at the beginning of the 1800s. Originally built as a residence and business premises for merchant J.H. Heidenstrauch, the building was completed in 1820.
This room also has one of the four working replaces in the Presidential Palace. Paintings from the imperial art collection are hung on its walls and a painting called The Nyländska Jaktklubben Harbour in Helsinki completed by Albert Edelfelt for the Paris World Exhibition of 1900 hangs behind the desk. The Presidential Palace is located in Helsinki, at the corner of Pohjoisesplanadi and Mariankatu, on one side of the Market Square. The architectural drawings for the building, which was originally completed in 1820 as a merchant’s manor and designed by Pehr Granstedt, were finalised by Carl Ludvig Engel.
