It’s obvious that the barrels used are slightly different from previous years, but Redemption 9 Year is still a quality bourbon at its core. That means there’s been no water added and it’s in its most unfiltered and unadulterated state outside of sticking your glass straight into the barrel.

Jan 2, 2021 · Redemption 9-Year Barrel-Proof Bourbon Review. To qualify as bourbon a spirit must have at least 51% corn, and many distillers stick to that low percentage. This bourbon, however, is 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley. It’s 54.1% ABV and has been aged for nine years in new charred oak barrels.
Indiana- This Indiana barrel proof bourbon consists of a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley and was aged for 9 years. Madagascar vanilla pod, caramelized toffee, and dark roast coffee dominate the aroma with hints of lavendar honey.
Aug 8, 2016 · Redemption Barrel Proof Bourbon is a 9 -year-old, barrel proof/cask strength, release of MGP’s standard bourbon recipe. It’s their “low-rye” bourbon, which is still pretty darn high when you consider that most major bourbons clock in around 8-16% rye (roughly).
