   • It's exhilarating to see a genre picture done really well. Roger Ebert was the film critic of the Chicago Sun-Times from 1967 until his death in 2013. In 1975, he won the Pulitzer Prize for distinguished criticism. "Salt" is a damn fine thriller. It does all the things I can't stand in bad movies, and does them in a good one.
