Santa Barbara Tax Products Group issued a reply to both the BBB & the California Attorney General‘s office stating they sent my refund back to the IRS on 09/22/22 & provided a trace number allegedly provided by the IRS. When u called the IRS last week, they never spoke to anyone at that company & they never provided this trace number!

This option also has an additional charge from the bank that processes the transaction.

They use this awful company to process my refund. Instead of the $800 + I was supposed to be refunded, I only had $35 as a refund posted to my bank account. I had agreed to have my state tax that I owed, paid with my refund which meant I would have had about $650 deposited to my bank account. Santa Barbara Tax Product Group kept my money.
