To shorten the Goleta Beach part of this story a bit — I’ll do a full-fledged feature when the time is right — they’ve decided to change the name of the restaurant from Sea Legs to The Ellwood, opting for the name of historic Goleta rancher and tree planter Ellwood Cooper.
