What is the Exchange? The Exchange is a seed swap, where gardeners from around the country offer seeds they’ve grown (“homegrown seeds”). The Exchange is facilitated by Seed Savers Exchange, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and sharing heirloom seeds.
Shop a large selection of organic, heirloom, non-GMO vegetable seeds and plants, including rare and hard-to-find tomato, cucumber, bean, lettuce, and pepper seeds. Sales support our non-profit work.

Seed Savers Exchange, or SSE, is a non-profit organization based near Decorah, Iowa, that preserves heirloom plant varieties through regeneration, distribution and seed exchange. It is one of the largest nongovernmental seedbanks in the United States. [4]
