Jan 26, 2011 · #1 · Jan 26, 2011. I have the chance to be a restored '65 BSA Thunderbolt. Bike looks great in the pictures and the owner seems to be a straigh shooter. Says he has over $10K in the restoration. Motor was done by a local Brit bike shop, the owner of which I know. The fenders were rechromed, the bike was repainted.

The latest is a 63 BSA A65 hardtail chopper with 1000 mi on a rebuild by Acme Machine, the shop I deal with and top-notch builders. $2500, with a 67 BSA A65 titled basket case thrown in.
