Mar 31, 2023 · This historic resort predates Shenandoah National Park, marketed as an escape from city life beginning in the 1890s by businessman and promoter George Freeman Pollock. Today, the facilities here are managed by the Park concessioner and still offer that same sense of escape. There are many services within the Skyland area: Massanutten Lodge.
