Description. Winding trails with dramatic cliff views and a nearby reservoir. This trail has tons of rocks, but the great lookout top showing the reservoir makes up for it. Sep 22, 2020 · This hike, located in Sunset Rock State Park on the Plainville/Southington line, certainly lives up to it’s name as one of the best local spots to catch a sunset. There are three different trailheads here — take the one in the middle directly in the back of the parking lot and following the blue and orange markers.
