Supetar (Croatian pronunciation:, Italian: San Pietro della Brazza) is a town on the northern part of the Dalmatian island of Brač, in the Split-Dalmatia County, in Croatia. It became the island's official centre in 1827. The town of Supetar includes Supetar itself and the three villages of Splitska, Škrip and Mirca.

Supetar is the largest town and the administrative center of the island of Brač. It is located in its north and is oriented towards the mainland, from which it is separated by Brač channel. Although it is a town, it has retained the soul of a small and charming Mediterranean village.
Brač has a long and folded coastline with a length of more than 180 km (110 mi), with numerous smaller and larges bays. Particularly noticeable are the natural harbours of Supetar, Splitska, Pučišća, and Povlja, Sumartin, Milna and Bobovišća.

Supetar, Brac Island. Supetar is the main port of entry on Brac Island as well as its administrative centre. With around 3500 inhabitants, Supetar is the largest town on the island. The harbour is an attractive place for a stroll and is backed by a small network of medieval streets lined with local cafes and small shops.
