Print and online resources in the form of databases and digital collections curated to match campus teaching and research needs, with many of these sources unique to Syracuse University. Journals spanning all periodical types including popular magazines, trade and industry publications, and academic journal literature.

Sep 28, 2021 · With Summon, you can do a basic search or an “advanced search,” where you can narrow down results by content type, area of study, language, etc. Where the “almost” fails you, you can search any of the 719 library databases directly. Databases are also accessible from the Libraries homepage.
Specialized or comprehensive research should be done in the Libraries' subject-specific databases and using the Libraries' Classic Catalog. For information about which databases are best for your subject area, consult a Research Guide or contact a Subject Librarian.

Off Campus Access - After clicking on the database you want to search, you will be prompted to login. Use your SU NetID and password.
Summon search results will include resources from the Library Catalog as well as full-text articles from Syracuse University Library (the main campus library) databases. It will NOT include articles, etc. from databases licensed by the Law Library.
