About EGL. Engineering Excellence. Current students in the Michigan Engineering Honors Program maintain a 3.6 or higher cumulative GPA while pursuing their Bachelors degree. For more information on Academic Support, current students can visit Canvas or speak with an Honors advisor.

The Honors & Engagement Programs Office was created in 2012 and is an office within the College of Engineering Undergraduate Education department. The Honors & Engagement Programs office oversees the following: The Michigan Engineering Honors Program. The Engineering Global Leadership specialization.
Current University of Michigan Engineering students are eligible to apply to our program, provided they have met the following criteria: Completed two full-time term at the University of Michigan (in any school or college)
