The Dreamstone is a British animated television series that ran for four series, with 13 episodes per series between 1990 and 1995. The original concept and artwork were created by Michael Jupp, and the series was written by Sue Radley and Martin Gates.
On the sunny side lives the Old Dreammaker, guardian of the most precious and powerful thing in the world - the Dreamstone. Every night he uses it to send out dreams to the world, assisted by Albert his watchhdog-fish, and two Noops, Rufus and Amberley.

The Urpneys are on a journey to the Land of Dreams with the Knitted Balloon they've built. In the mean time Zordrak travels in his spiritual form to possess Amberley and get a hold of the Dreamstone. Rufus and Albert bring down the balloon and succeed into recovering the Dreamstone.
The Dreamstone's power is fading and the Dream Maker with his friends take it to Planet Dreamstone to be recharged. The heroes are ambushed by the Urpneys and both parties end up on the Dark Side.
