I used to like Judge Hatchett's show when real litigants and cases were presented. But now The Verdict is no different than all of these other "reenactment" court shows... overacting is the main culprit. And most likely the "litigants" are reading off scripts when they're at their podiums.
Judge Hatchett is an American arbitration-based reality court show, produced and distributed by Sony Pictures Television. The series premiered on September 4, 2000, and ran for eight seasons until its cancellation on May 23, 2008. It was Sony Pictures' first court show.
