The Wildcats of St. Trinian's focuses more than usual on the school's younger girls, and they are also played by actresses who look about the right age, of fifteen or so. The film is, in many ways, the most childish and childlike of the series, with basic plotting, simple characterisations and cheerful schoolgirl high jinx.
