Thomas J. D'Andrea (May 15, 1909 – May 14, 1998) was an American actor in films and on television.
He is most remembered today for his regular 7 year role as neighbor "Jim Gillis" in the TV sitcom, The Life of Riley (1953), starring William Bendix (1953-1959). In 1950 D'Andrea provided comic support for William Bendix in "Kill the Umpire".

Biography. Thomas J. D'Andrea was an American actor in films and on television. D'Andrea's first job was at the Chicago Public Library, after which he worked in publicity at the Sherman Hotel in Chicago.
An amusing supporting role as a myopic ballplayer in the William Bendix comedy Kill the Umpire (1950) led to D'Andrea being cast as Bendix's buddy Gillis on the TV sitcom The Life of Riley in 1953.
