The Hague is divided in two parts, one built on sand, and one built on clay. The two parts of the city are divided by Laan van Meerdervoort, the longest street in Europe.
- Mauritshuis Museum. The Mauritshuis Museum is an art museum that is located in the centre of Den Haag next to the Binnenhof. The building was constructed in 1636 in a Dutch Classicist style.
