We follow the 9-1 Edexcel Mathematics GCSE specification. There are two tiers of entry: Higher at which grades 3 to 9 are awarded (this has 19 units) and Foundation at which grades 1 to 5 are awarded (which has 20 units). There is no coursework, the students sit 3 exam papers (one non-calculator and two calculator) in the summer of Year 11.
