Incubus hasn't done a song like this in a quite a while so it's a welcomed surprise for me. I think there is room for improvement on this song, but nonetheless it's a great attempt at doing something new. Overall, i'm happy with it. I just fear, like much of their music since Trust Fall Side A, this will be a forgettable batch of songs.

Incubus come to us from California, and they’ve been around since the late 80s. They aren’t progressive, per se, but they have dabbled in it, and their music has always felt ambitious ...
Incubus wanted to artistically branch out more, like they did with INNW, but it wasn’t well received by critics and fans. I think the band has struggled with this because they want to keep evolving, and not become a nostalgia act. I personally liked Trust Fall and 8, but it felt like a throwback of sorts.
