    • Pitcher Plant. Nepenthes is also known as pitcher plant. This is found generally in Asia, Sri Lanka, and Australia. In their natural environment, insects crawl inside of the plant’s funnel-shaped leaves in an attempt to reach nectar secreted by a narrow section near the leaves’ base.
