Under Still Waters A troubled alcoholic and her stressed out husband find their attempt to escape the pressures of everyday life unexpectedly challenged after they run a stranger off of the road and then take the man to their remote cottage in hopes of summoning help.
It's the story of a rich yet dissatisfied and unhappy couple (Bell and Jason Clarke) whose path crosses with a strange and unsettling drifter (Clifton Collins, Jr) on the way to their weekend retreat. What seems like a twist of fate initially proves to be something else in a plot that twists and turns.
