  7. He was a friend of Felix's father. Felix grew up listening to him and created the holo-character as a tribute to the late family friend. In the mirror universe, either real Vic Fontaine was born later in the timeline or whatever killed the prime Vic didn't kill Alt-Vic. This is not based on anything canonical.
