   • Our 6-day stay in Dordrecht was a A++ success thanks to the restaurant and room at Villa Augustus. Convenient dining just a 30-second garden stroll from the fabled Water Tower. Cuisine is creatively funky. Staff could not be friendlier. Many local beer selections and they make a superb pizza.

   Why was Villa Augustus so disappointing?

   • This was disappointing because we are long standing fans of Villa Augustus and had brought a friend as a treat. The evening was saved from being a total disaster by a nice house wine, a lovely salad (hard to mess up given a wonderful kitchen garden) and a delightful waiter.
