Rider Swap or Switch. Let a team member know about your need to ride switch to accommodate small children or guests with special needs. One guest will wait at a designated area with the non-rider while a second guest rides. The riders then switch. Feb 24, 2024 · Plan Your Day at Volcano Bay Orlando. Typically, Volcano Bay at Universal Orlando is open from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday through Sunday. You can always check Volcano Bay’s hours ahead of time here or on the Universal Orlando app.
Volcano Bay Universal Express Water park visitors also have the option of purchasing Universal Express, which will be added to your TapuTapu. With the Express ticket, you can skip the virtual line at select attractions. You'll be directed to proceed to the boarding area rather than be given a return time.

May 15, 2024 · Volcano Bay is the newest and coolest (literally) theme park at Universal Orlando. There’s nothing more fun to do on a hot Florida day than head to a waterpark. Volcano Bay officially opened in May 2018, and we were lucky to be some of the first guests, to check out the park and ride the water slides.
