The theme song of Wallace and Gromit is heard frequently throughout the franchise (beginning with A Grand Day Out), mainly the beginning and end. The piece of music was written by Julian Nott, the composer of the franchise.
During the post-production of A Grand Day Out, Julian Nott says it was one of the last pieces he wrote for the film.
The instrumental piece rarely has any official name, although it is featured in two different tracks in the soundtrack of Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit entitled as "A Grand Day Out" and "Wallace & Gromit".
