The civil / criminal division of the Washtenaw County Trial Court is the 22nd Circuit Court of general jurisdiction in Washtenaw County. This division has jurisdiction over all actions except those given by state law to another court.
Circuit Court records for the last 25 years may be viewed at the main office of Clerk of the Court-Court Services. Only five (5) files per hour may be requested. Records from the year 1883 to older than 25 years have been purged. Final orders on these records may be available for viewing.
The Trial Court provides opportunities for people and organizations to obtain the peaceful resolution of public and private disputes in a fair, efficient, and timely manner.
