The Decepticons actually started with one Cybertronian, who once was one of the original seven Primes, his name was The Fallen, who was formerly known as Megatronus Prime. When the original Primes found the AllSpark, they realized they needed a power source for it, for as the AllSpark created life, it too, did not have unlimited energy. The Fallen (voiced by Tony Todd in the film, James Arnold Taylor in the second video game), formerly Megatronus Prime, is the main antagonist of the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie. A rogue Prime of the Dynasty of Primes, the Fallen is the founder and first of the Decepticons, and Megatron's mentor.
