That’s what Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) leaders call the Truckee River Operating Agreement (TROA), because it puts the region in a much better position to manage its water supply through drought.
The Authority provides a wide range of water services to households and businesses within its service area, ranging from potable water residential service, to irrigation, non-potable water and fire protection services.
