The Pack is a group of six members that collaborate and play games together, primarily focused on Minecraft; the game that all of its members' channels were founded on. It consists of: Lachlan (previously CraftBattleDuty), JeromeASF, Bajan Canadian, Woofless (pronounced 'woof-ulls'), PrestonPlayz (aka TBNRFrags), and Sidemen member Vikkstar123. They commonly refer to each other in videos via their real life names of Lachlan, Jerome, Mitch, Rob, Preston and Vik respectively.
Similar to the Sidemen, the group was created organically by a group of friends who liked Minecraft. From commentary in their videos, and their real life interactions/vlogs, its evident that the Pack were all good friends behind the camera.
The group formed in after the breakup of Team Crafted, a similar Minecraft group that consisted of Bajan Canadian, JeromeASF and others, including NetNobody when he went online by SkyDoesMinecraft. The first signs of formation was around late 2013, although the date is unclear.
The Pack regularly made a variety of series such as Battledome, Lucky Blocks, mini-game play throughs, CrazyCraft and UHCs. However, their most iconic series was How to Minecraft, a multiplayer SMP server in which the Pack: and a few other members were active on. Vikkstar123 made 137 episodes in the first season. In total, there are currently 6 seasons of HTM, however most would say the Pack was only active from seasons one to three.
Apart from the core six Pack members, there are several other YouTubers they played with, akin to Callux and Calfreezy with the Sidemen. PeteZahHutt, Nooch, TBNRKenWorth, ChocoTheChocobo and Ali-A were all members of the original How to Minecraft server, and some still are. Lachlan, separate from his involvement in the Pack has worked with the Sidemen concerning Fortnite gameplay more recently.
During collaborations, Vik and Lachlan referred to themselves as the only 2 members of the 'KoolKidKlub', which originated from their series of Find the Button videos and their unique relationship during How to Minecraft where they occupied the same lagoon area named 'the Salty Lagoon'.
Bajan Canadian, Lachlan and Vik formed 'TeamGlobal' as Australia, the UK and Canada formed a triangle when joined a map.
Woofless and Preston, like Vik and Lachlan were closer to each other as well. Woofless coined themselves 'Team Hot and Spicy', denoting Preston's player skin and brand. They co-own a minecraft server named Cosmic.
As of 30th June, 2023, the Pack have made an official return to YouTube on their newly created channel, where they promise to upload every Friday 12pm CST.
