Hornickel and her boyfriend, Michael Wamsley, 20, also of Omaha, made several 911 calls for help early the morning of Jan. 5, stating that they were lost and looking for Hornickel's pickup. The pickup was found stuck in the snow southwest of Omaha later that day, and Wamsley's body was found on Jan. 6, a little more than a mile from the truck.
