     The CertUtil is a pre-installed Windows utility, that can be used to generate hash checksums:

     CertUtil -hashfile pathToFileToCheck [HashAlgorithm]-

     HashAlgorithm

     choices: MD2 MD4 MD5 SHA1 SHA256 SHA384 SHA512

     So for example, the following generates an MD5 checksum for the file C:\TEMP\MyDataFile.img:

     CertUtil -hashfile C:\TEMP\MyDataFile.img MD5-

     To get output similar to *Nix systems you can add some PS magic:

     $(CertUtil -hashfile C:\TEMP\MyDataFile.img MD5)[1] -replace " ",""-

     I personally use Cygwin, which puts the entire smörgåsbord of Linux utilities at my fingertip --- there's md5sum

     and all the cryptographic digests supported by OpenSSL. Alternatively, you can also use a Windows distribution of OpenSSL (the "light" version is only a 1 MB installer).

     One sure fire way is to list the whole path of the text file.

     Assuming the folder is in Desktop, and the User name of you pc is User1:

     Here's code that gets the users location and then redirects to the Ingress site with the right parameters:

     This: position.coords.longitude and this position.coords.latitude are variables created by the navigator.geolocation function. You're then calling them up in the second function. document.location.href redirects to a URL you specify.

Perhaps you accidentally committed a file that contained a password, and you want to make your project open source. filter-branch is the tool you probably want to use to scrub your entire history. To remove a file named passwords.txt from your entire history, you can use the --tree-filter option to filter-branch:

     $ git filter-branch --tree-filter 'rm -f passwords.txt' HEAD

     But if it's only last commit you messed up you can solve it with git rm large_file and git commit --amend

The bencode format uses d and e to mark the start and end of a dictionary (it uses e to mark the end of integers and lists as well); the code parses the file until the next offset points to an e in the character sequence.
